Valentina Prado

Valentina is Principal Consultant at Sphera’s North America sustainability consulting practice. In this role she is responsible for managing projects, supporting business development, and providing guidance to a team of consultants. Valentina is based in Vancouver, BC and has spent the last few years as an LCA consultant in North America. Prior to her roles in consulting, Valentina taught LCA courses at CML in Leiden University and also had a faculty position at the school of management at Los Andes University in Colombia where she led coursework on sustainability for businesses.

Valentina has a bachelor’s in civil engineering from Jackson State University and a MS and PhD focused in LCA and decision analysis from Arizona State University. Valentina’s experience includes methodological innovations in interpretation of comparative and her work is published in the International Journal of Life Cycle Assessment, Journal of Industrial Ecology and the Journal of Cleaner Production.
