Mariya Absar

Mariya is a Sustainability Expert in the US Footprinting Team at Quantis. She has over six years of experience working as a technical lead on screening-level as well as ISO compliant product life cycle assessments, corporate footprint assessments for public sector clients as well as Fortune 100 companies in the food and beverage, consumer packaged goods, fashion & sporting goods, and cosmetics sectors. Her expertise includes developing product and supply chain life cycle inventories from primary and secondary data sources, sustainable packaging and packaging eco-design metrics as well as constructing parameterized life cycle assessment models in various software platforms.

Mariya holds a Doctorate in Climate and Environmental Sciences, from University of Tennessee, a Master of Environmental Management from Yale School of the Environment (YSE), and a Bachelors in Computer Science from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS).
