Fred has led the LCA and Circular Economy Team at Eastman since 2020. His team is responsible for footprinting of Eastman’s operations and products worldwide. Recent work has focused on footprinting of Eastman’s molecular recycling technologies and collaborating on the company’s decarbonization strategy. Fred joined Eastman in 1999 and has held a variety of roles in technology, marketing, and innovation, all with a focus on plastics. He holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
