Anna is a principal sustainability expert at Quantis, supporting organizations who desire to embed sustainability in their strategy.
In 2019 and 2020 took place the Plastic Leak Project (PLP), for which Anna led the development of plastic leakage guidelines on macroplastic leakage from plastic products and packaging as well as plastic microfiber leakage during textile wash. Anna performed a plastic leakage assessment of Arla Food corporate activities and an outdoor jacket by Sympatex that now serves as a basis to elaborate their plastic strategy.
Anna worked on over 100 projects, with small to large size companies in agro-food, health care, chemical, building, packaging sectors, as well as with public organizations in Switzerland and European H2020 research projects in the field of plastic leakage, toxic impact modelling, biorefinery, cement production, nanotechnologies and water treatment. Anna holds a PhD. degree on water use and quality in Life Cycle Assessment and a M.Sc. in environmental engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL, Switzerland). Her expertise lies in the following topics: plastic strategy, water stewardship, Science Based Targets for Nature, corporate footprint, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of products and services.
